MRC dry cabinets for laboratory and industrial storage are equipped with dehumidify system. With digital humidity control. it maintains an internal environment of 1-50% RH. Desiccant Cabinets are used to protect objects from moisture & humidity-related damages such as rust, oxidation, and warping. Desiccators are containers made of plastic, glass or metal, for the purpose of storage and final drying of solids, to isolate external moisture in laboratories.
Dry Cabinets
Designed for storing parts and materials that are sensitive to moisture. Moisture can damage them:
Optics: lenses, cameras, microscope, telescope, cameras and video
Transparencies and films,
Electronics and semiconductor industry:
Electronic components, Sensitive electronic equipment,
Vipers for the semiconductor industry,
Metal industry:
Metal parts that have undergone machining and thermal treatment and are sensitive to moisture,
Museums and collectors:
Archaeological finds from metals, swords and coins
Old and valuable books and writings,
Stamps and banknotes
Items made of leather
Medicine: Medical equipment that is sensitive to moisture
Medicines
Calibration standards
Choosing a drying cabinet
Desiccators and drying cabinets are used to store materials, parts and products that are sensitive to moisture, such as:
Semiconductors, electronic cards, digital media, metals such as blades, optics and optical equipment, books, banknotes, antique and expensive stamps,
Products printed on a 3D printer and raw materials such as polymers for a 3D printer,
Pharmaceutical materials, calibration standards like calibration weights.
There are passive cells and active cells:
Passive cells - the small, transparent round and rectangular dissectors.
At the bottom is a tray with desiccants. Every few months, remove the desiccant and dry it in the oven and return it to the cell.
Active cells are activated by the network voltage and have an electronic-platelet drying system that causes the moisture from the cell to condense by creating a small temperature difference between the cell interior and the external environment. Similar to an air conditioner that removes moisture from the room.
- For extremely low dry conditions there is an internal addition of desiccants with a furnace which dries and recycles them.
-Dry conditions of less than 1% have the addition of an inlet to argon gas for optimal drying.
