The LI-550 TriSonica® Mini Wind and Weather Sensor is a compact,
lightweight sonic anemometer and weather sensor with low power requirements.
It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet it is a powerful and highly
accurate tool for atmospheric monitoring, weather reporting, and ecosystem research.
With a measurement path of 35 mm and weight of 50-67 grams,
its size and featherweight profile make it perfect for many uncrewed aerial systems (UAS),
while the fact that it has no moving parts allows it to be stationed on fixed or portable
towers for real-time 3-dimensional* air flow measurements. It provides wind speed, direction, temperature,
humidity, pressure, tilt, and compass data.
The LI-550 also provides measurements of all three dimensions of air flow.
The open path provides the least possible distortion of the wind field.
Because there are four measurement paths, the path with the most distortion can be removed
